About Us
We are a 42 year old agency that opened to enable low income families to work while their children received high quality, affordable child care. We have grown from early childhood education to before and after school care to all inclusive classrooms, and have 5 locations including: Community Campus, Portsmouth, all three Portsmouth Elementary Schools, and Greenland Central School, in Greenland.

Agency Mission: to provide high quality child care and be responsive to the child care needs of the Seacoast region, to give priority to children from families that are in need, and to take a leadership role in advocating for children's and family issues.
Agency Philosophy: every child should have access to the best child care, no matter their background. Continuity of care and high quality child care should not be a privilege reserved for upper income families. Low and moderate income families should not have to choose between quality care and financial survival for families. In our programs, children are loved, children are nurtured, children are successful. These children move on to become complete, contributing and healthy members of our community.
Community Child Care is based at the Community Campus in Portsmouth. Community Child Care serves approximately 275 children annually. Since 1967, CCCC has played a significant role in the lives of thousands of Seacoast children, encouraging and sustaining healthy families in our community.
