On Seacoast Online, in response to a Sept., 2010 Center Expansion story:
"The Community Child Care Center is an invaluable resource for working parents. As a single parent, I was able to work full-time, knowing my son was in good hands before and after school and during summer vacations, all thanks to CCCC. By working full-time, I was able to buy a house and provide the stable environment my son needed to succeed as a student. I could not have done it without their help. Thanks CCCC! My son is now a Dean's List student." - "Truman", Portsmouth

"My daughter Logan has been at your center for two and a half years. I heard about you from Families First. She was in home daycare which I didn't care for, and then she got in and started off as a minnow –Sarah was her teacher, and is now her teacher in the Stingrays classroom so it has been an easy transition. She has a lot of friends there. I like the evaluations because Logan had problems with her hearing and speaking, and has been linked to a lot of services through Community Child Care. I think it's great that all of the teachers know all the children's names, even if the child is not a part of their class! The teachers really support each other and that's great. For me personally, when I have to leave my child, it is great to know that she is safe. I totally trust the staff at CCCC. I've recommended Community to my brother and friends. I think it's a great program."                                          -Laurie Wheeler, New Castle

"Both my children have gone through the child care center and went through the PEAK program as well. When my husband died in 2003, my daughter was six and my son was nine. Both were at Little Harbour PEAK at that time. I can't say enough about the support they got from Jamie and his staff when their whole world turned upside down. Jamie was a really important male influence when my son Quint needed that. Community Child Care Center was full of people who knew my kids and knew my family, and I used to say it was an extension of our neighborhood. My daughter met three of her friends from Community. One she met when she was two, and now they are in 7th grade together. I can't say enough about the program."      -Christine Hegarty, Portsmouth
